VGSL personnel have been proven to be highly competitive in project management skills and follow some of the industry standards like CMM and ISO. We follow the product life cycle process, which involves the following phases:
- Exploration
- Planning
- Development
- Production
- Deployment
- Acceptance
Exploration phase
This involves in reviewing the market survey phase where the need for a particular product in the market is determined by the sales team and later is converted into a business requirement document. Based on these inputs a program implementation plan is derived.
Planning phase
This phase involves the creation of an architectural and high level design document to enable in putting together a detailed project plan with all the milestones defined and the resources identified with right skill set. In this phase, we also come up with a product quality plan that describes the kind of validation required for the product.
Development phase
The technical product specs are derived from this phase that specifies all the specifications for the product development that can be referred by the development team. Clear quality and pre-production release milestones are defined as part of this phase. All the development activities are completed during this phase and validation activities are completed as part of this phase.
Production phase
Final qualification report is reviewed with the program team and Go/No Go decisions are made for the product release. This phase also prepares for post-production activities to sustain the product maintenance. This cycle follows for all the development activities even during the sustenance phase.
In addition to these proven processes, we also are well versed with TOC standards that enable us to do a better and more transparent way for project management that allows client to look at the progress of the projects on a real time basis.

We offer four different business models that the client can switch between midstream in a long-term engagement. Since each model has its unique benefits, the client can choose the best option, at any given point in time, to suit internal business plans.
Onsite services
Under this model, VGSL Engineers are deputed to supplement the client’s team at the client’s location. Either an onsite project manager or a client representative handles the project management. This model is also suitable for onsite consulting with the client’s customers for the client’s products, platforms or technologies
Offshore services
Under this model, the client gets software engineering work done by the Brio engineers, at our Bangalore facility, on a need-basis. A client representative would do the project coordination on the client’s side.
Onshore & offshore model
This model is the most commonly used for medium- to long-term engagements, which combines the administrative benefits of an onsite team with the cost advantages of an offshore team, wherein a small onsite team is deputed, either initially or throughout the engagement, with the client. This onsite team is responsible for all coordination with the client and also project management of the offshore team
BOOT model
The Build Own Operate Transfer model is offered to clients looking to eventually setup their own operations in India. The model serves as an excellent entry vehicle for the client into the Indian setup with thorough exposure to Indian work culture and Government processes such as accounting practices, taxes, labor laws, etc. |
